Apartment complex has gym and Luxor package room. Daily needs/errands are all within 10 mins. Quick access to Interstate highways and walking distance to light rail if I want to go Downtown or other areas. Good views of front range as compared to western burbs. Access to highline canal trail and GV/Centennial trail system for biking and walking. Have not been victim of property or other types of crime (seems crime free). So far I've lucked out with quiet neighbors. Quiet/Chill - not congested like urban core. More sf than I could get in Denver proper for price. + $100/mo for a large 1 car garage below my apartment (no direct access to unit). $1,600/mo for about 850 sf with an OK size 2nd level (no view) patio. My apartment was fake nice and had lots of problems, it was too expensive, my car was broken into in their self-contained parking structure, took too long to get to most places, the amenities in the building sucked. (For Reference - I have a bird, and I am single) Being as close to Colfax as I am - I do not experience a lot of the noise or the usual nuisances people don't like about it.īefore this I lived in Englewood and I absolutely hated it. I love the local graffiti artists and trawling the alleys for new pieces. I live super close to a lot of my friends and am in walking distance to a lot of spaces, and I have reach to get to most places in the city in 15 minutes with my car. I don't have bug issues, or too small a space, my internet is excellent, my stove is old, small and crummy (which as a baker, makes me sad but it hasn't really affected my output too much), the washer/dryer in my building is kinda terrible. I live in the cheesman area and I really like it. No concern trolling, gaslighting, misinformation, brigading.
